Your solar panels do their job during the day, but in the evening you’re running the washing machine, cooking electrically, and maybe charging your car. Result: you feed cheap power back to the grid and buy expensive power later. A home battery like the Tesla Powerwall 3 solves this problem. And with Tesla’s temporary promotion, you can now receive up to €900 back when you have a Powerwall 3 installed via a certified installer such as DLE.
The Tesla Powerwall is a smart home battery that stores your self-generated electricity. During the day, your solar panels charge the Powerwall, and you use that energy later for example: in the evening or at night. This reduces your reliance on the grid and allows you to use far more of your own solar power.
The Powerwall 3 has a built-in inverter. This means your existing inverter is replaced and your solar panels are connected directly to the Powerwall. You get one compact system that controls everything: generation, consumption, and storage. In the Tesla app, you can clearly see how much energy you generate, store, and use. If you already own a Tesla car, your home simply appears in the same app.
Even without solar panels, the Powerwall can be interesting. The battery works well with energy contracts that use hourly pricing or day/night tariffs. You charge the battery when electricity is cheap and use that energy when prices are higher. This flattens peak consumption and gives you more control over your energy costs.
A major advantage: in the event of a power outage, your home stays powered. The Powerwall automatically takes over, without you having to do anything. That’s not just convenient, but also reassuring if you work from home or rely on equipment that cannot simply switch off.
Tesla is temporarily offering a rebate of €450 per Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion, up to a maximum of €900 per installation address. The promotion applies to a maximum of two Powerwalls per Tesla account.
You must place your order between 1 December 2025 and 31 March 2026, and the Powerwall must be installed and registered between 1 December 2025 and 31 May 2026.
If you meet these conditions and submit a complete application in time via Tesla’s rebate portal, you will receive a Virtual Visa Reward Card by email. This is a digital Visa card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. The rebate is not deducted from DLE’s invoice and is not paid directly into your bank account.
To qualify for the rebate:
Your order must be placed during the promotion period
The installation must be carried out by a Tesla-certified installer
Your Powerwall must be installed on time, connected to the internet, and visible in the Tesla app
You must submit your rebate application via Tesla’s portal no later than 31 May 2026
If your installation is completed after 31 May 2026, or your Powerwall is not registered and online by that date, you risk losing the rebate, even if you ordered within the correct period.
DLE is an official Tesla Certified Installer. We ensure your Powerwall is installed correctly and safely in your meter cabinet and works seamlessly with your solar panels, charging station, and — if applicable — heat pump. We assess your consumption profile and future plans and give you honest advice on whether a Powerwall 3, with or without an Expansion, truly adds value in your situation.
